You have a big idea for a business – but where do you start? Luckily, there are a lot of resources out there to help you, including right here at Comcast Business. But whether you turn to us, or turn to other partners, here are some tips from the entrepreneurial trenches:
- Read: There are numerous books, magazines and online resources available today on the subject of entrepreneurship and starting a business. Don’t forget to check out industry-specific content as well.
- Talk to industry experts: Find a mentor. Attend entrepreneurial panels and discussions, hackathons and other events to hear from others who were in the same position as you. You might get a great idea for your business or come away with a different perspective you hadn’t thought of before.
- Consider a co-working space: Business incubators or co-working spaces are breeding grounds for networking. You never know who you will meet that can help you along the way!
And, you may not remember, but Comcast was a startup itself only 50 years ago. Now we’re working to help the next generation of entrepreneurs make it big – check out this PDF for ten ways Comcast can support your entrepreneurial venture.
