Comcast Business SmartOffice Video Monitoring Solution Helps Project Green Light Detroit Improve Public Safety

September 01, 2017

Project Green Light Detroit improves public safety with advanced video surveillance.

Project Green Light is a public safety initiative for small businesses in the city of Detroit. The program outfits participating businesses with indoor and outdoor cameras for 24/7 real-time activity monitoring, with the goal of reducing crime and bringing offenders to justice. The program, which was launched in early 2016, garnered some initial interest from area businesses, but implementation challenges and camera purchasing requirements proved to be significant hurdles that kept participation numbers lower than hoped. Learn how Comcast Business helped The City introduce equipment leasing options, improve program accessibility and enhance area safety. Read the case study.
