Andrew Smith is a Distinguished Engineer and the Chief Architect for Cable MSO Networks at Juniper Networks. In his role he advocates for technical, service and business innovation in partnership with Juniper's cable customers. Mr. Smith has operational, architectural and engineering experience in the complete end-to-end cable network ecosystem, including core IP/MPLS systems, Ethernet edge, and DOCSIS access networks. Mr. Smith was previously with Cisco where he was a member of the architecture team for major MSO customers. He holds two active CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certifications, a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and an Executive Master's in Technology Management degree, a joint program from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Wharton School of Business
